Greetings!

I have consolidated all of my potential contacts into one database and am now going through it to see both who could help me in a research project and who would be interested in reading it, even if they can't contribute.
Allow me to explain: I am researching Czech Easter and Christmas customs -- both those currently observed and those originating in or celebrated during Medieval times. The research covers both the religious aspects and the folklore aspects of the holiday seasons.
The material on Czech Easter customs covers the period from masopust through Easter Monday. The material on Czech Christmas customs covers the beginning of Advent through Epiphany (Three Kings Day).
I'm looking not only for scholarly research on the subjects, but personal recollections and observations as well. For instance, What does your family do? Where would you see a particular custom celebrated -- almost anywhere in the Czech Republic? Only in the villages?
Also, if you have any materials that you could share with me, I'd be most appreciative. They can be e-mailed to me at pchudoba@rochester.rr.com or sent by mail to me at:

I'd appreciate it if you could take a moment to respond, letting me know if you'd be interested in helping me on this research. In your response, please send me your name and the best e-mail address to use to contact you.
If you're not interested in being involved, or are not a good contact for these subjects, please feel free to let me know that so I don't bother you again.
Many thanks in advance for your time. Until I hear from you, I remain,
    Sincerely yours,

Petr Chudoba
